Geyser sprays out the flesh
Quiet waves of unrest
Shy possum, I too am on the fence
Reluctant quite often, icy palms inside pockets
My complexion masks the red, scoff until I start to vomit
Avoidance is a fine option
Hide a cough deep in my neck like I wasn't
Can't show signs of weakness
Scene outside is bleakest yet
Got to check my spine is solid
It’s hard to get up out of bed, why bother?
Death is destined, bet I double checked
(Veer from the mirror by default
Worked my fingers to a fault
Then I got my hand stuck in the salt
As it burns, my voice I hold
Nervous hold on an adult frame
Searching for stability and change
Await inevitable sulk
Grip upon my neck, lead with one shy step)
